So I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend! Ive been working, but no complaints here! This weekend was mostly about updating my website and working on my logo. The logo is in the works. I created it myself so its my design. Iam now just waiting for the web designer to complete it on the computer so I can use it for my website, t-shirts you know fun things like that yay super excited cant wait to post it and show it to everyone! I FINALLY was able to put new pics on my website yay check it out http://makingthatcake.com/

I also took some pictures down. I felt it was getting a little over whelming, but I still have the other pics stored no worries! Want a little peek of some of the new pictures?!?!? ok here is one:

Cute right? I think so! Ok so last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST....The NYC Wine and Food Festivals website is scheduled to go up tomorrow yayyy!!! If it does I will for sure be posting the Link where they have info about me! oh yeah! Ok go enjoy some BBQ on this beautiful day! Its an off day for me, but tomorrow Im back to cake business!

Cake Dreams

Ok so in my last post I completly forgot to mention the Food Network NYC Wine and Food Festival website will launch June 1st. I will post the link so hopefully you lovely people will look me up! Ok so Ive finished all my cakes for this week! Everyone was more then happy with there cakes I love it when I get happy exciteddd clapping reactions! makes my heart smile! So successful week in cakes..OH YEAH!! I wanna tell you though about a cake I had a few weeks ago it was TWO CUTE..It was mad for some awesome poeple that come to my parents restaurant (Mario's Restaurant) everyweek! The guys niece is having twins so I did a Noah's Arc cake. Two of every animal so adorable. The whales were my favorite!

I was walking to the restaurant with the cake and people were stopping me to say how beautiful it was. I was happy it was getting attention, but my arms were about to break off it was so heavy! I heard later it was a hit at the baby shower! YAY! ok so Festival update!! Had my picture taken yesterday for the festivals website. So awesome. Had a great photographer..made me look awesome..well atleast I think I look awesome haha. Now all that is left to do is finish up my bio and I send everything in...So excited I cannot contain myself wooo. Im gonna leave you with one possibility for the festivals website. Till next time!

Hey Everyone! Its me Angela from Making That Cake. And well this is my first post ever! well its my first blog ever!! This blog will be about my cake ventures and my preparation for the 2010 Food Network NYC Wine and Food Festival! woo! So RIDICULOUSLY excited about that! I heard today that so many chefs were trying to get into the festival. Im so honored to have been chosen. I received the invitation on Tuesday May 4...I almost fell off my chair. I quickly faxed my reply back that I would be attaending. HECK YESSS! I also got word a few days ago that I needed to have my picture professionaly taken and have my bio written...my bio...written...at 23 WOW. All this has to be sent in by the 24th and on top of that I have a LOAD of cakes due for the weekend...one I just finished this morning wanna see?!?!??!

So much fun to make. And I only had one day to do it due to late notice which meant 3 hours to sleep for me

fun times...but I LOVE IT! Ok so now I have a topsy turvey cake a graduation cap, and a birthday cake for
