So the package was basically about whats going to happen that day and the are providing me with a chef jacket courtesy of chef wear yayyy thanks guys! I also have to send in 2 cake flavor option and they will then choose one for me to do. The 2 Im going to show you pictures of is first the s'more cupcake which is a cinnamon cupcake chocolate ganache and topped with a homemade yes homemade marshmallow which is then torched Y-U-M
Now the second is an apple pie cupcake with a caramel buttercream topped with a crispy apple.

They were both so awesome we also tried out some other recipes but, these are not the chosen ones. I will for sure post which one was chosen yay! oh and by the way all these cupcakes were sold in my restaurant and the money made from them will go to breast cancer. Im off to brain storm some more! Hot Cakes

So last weekend was pretty darn crazy. It really wasn't "A Piece Of Cake"! Everything went smooth though. Everyone was more then happy with their cakes! So on the list was a Toy Story cake, Buick Skylark car cake, 3 tier birthday cake and a tweety cake. I was so crazy saturday morning because basically they were all due at the same time ofcourse. So I failed to take a picture of the Buick Skylark which was ridiculously awesome and the tweety cake. Luckily the lady that ordered the car cake has ordered from me before and this was her 3rd cake. So I e-mailed her for some pics so hopefully those will be up soon! Everyone was actually a repeat customer this week...wooo. Im doing something right. ooh yeah! So I wanna talk about the Toy Story cake. The lady that ordered it has reffered me too sooo many people and this was her 2nd cake. Wanna seeee:
It was at the lowes Theatre in the city. I had to take an elevator to the 4th floor. let me tell YOU! it was the longest elevator ride in my life! The cake was so heavy my arms were pretty close to falling off. Then ofcourse the elevator was full and this lady... who knows what state she thought she was in, but she was wearing a bubble jacket and it was like 90 degrees outside. Not only that but she had her back right up against me and the cake like we werent even there! Luckily the dad of the boy the cake was for was in fact in the elvator and he was holding her back! And cherry on the cake there was a little boy in the elevator ofcourse fascinated by the Toy Story cake. See how loooong I was in there for. So yeah little boy decides to touch the horse and broke the leg. Yay for me that was pretty much not fixable. Thanks kid! So finally off the elevator into a room that smelled like salty buttery popcorn mMmM. My arms were at rest and the cake was successfully delivered. A little boy in the room decided he wanted to pick rex right up from the cake and start playing with him. It didnt even phase me I got 3hrs of sleep the night before. So the lady was like that is not a toy its sugar! So I put rex right back down. Good thing he was made well, because he was unharmed yay!
So Im off now to work on a wedding cake I have for this weekend. Have a greath 4th of July PEEPS! I will leave you with the tweety plaque I hand painted. I mentioned Im an artist right hehe. Sweet cake dreams!
